A major improvement of this conversion is the open servo access—a feature the stock chassis doesn’t provide. This allows for quicker adjustments, easier maintenance, and a more efficient setup process.

While the original chassis uses a 2 mm base plate, the Kaizen Conversion upgrades this to a 2.5 mm carbon base plate to compensate for the slimmer overall design. Despite the increased thickness, the front section has been strategically milled out to maintain the necessary flex exactly where it’s needed for proper handling and drift response.
At the rear, especially around the drivetrain area, the plate remains intentionally rigid, ensuring stability, consistent power transfer.

The battery plate is elegantly integrated into the main base plate, resulting in a visually unified and functional layout.
